A colourful headshot can become a vibrant pop-art statement piece. A science-fiction experiment can evolve into an entire collection of retro space adventures.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been immersed in creating themed collections for Electric Muse. Rather than producing random standalone images, I’ve focused on building visual worlds that connect through a shared style, atmosphere, and story.

The process has been fascinating.

A single steampunk image became a grand city of airships and clock towers. A collection of colourful portraits evolved into Electric Faces, a series of contemporary pop-art-inspired artworks designed to bring energy and personality into modern spaces. Vintage pulp experiments became collections inspired by classic crime magazines and retro science-fiction adventures.

I’ve also been spending time creating room mockups to see how these artworks might look in real spaces. Coffee shops, gaming rooms, creative studios, beauty salons, home offices and modern apartments all show how the same artwork can be experienced in different ways. It’s wonderful how much context changes the way we experience a piece.

Share

That’s one of the things I’m discovering through Electric Muse.

Art doesn’t exist in isolation.

It becomes part of a room, a workspace, a reading corner, a favourite chair, a creative studio or a wall that needs a little more colour and personality.

As Electric Muse continues to grow, you’ll see more collections appear, each exploring different themes, styles and visual worlds. Some will be colourful and contemporary, while others will lean into fantasy, science fiction, steampunk or vintage-inspired storytelling.

For now, I’m simply enjoying the process of experimenting, creating, and seeing where the next idea takes me.

And honestly, that’s a pretty good place to be.

What kind of artwork would you like to see next?
